How we research stories
We begin with primary sources — official company announcements, documentation, research papers, and direct statements. We then corroborate with secondary reporting. Community sources such as forums and social media are treated as discovery signals, not as authoritative sources of fact.
Use of AI assistance
We use AI tools to help gather, summarize, and draft coverage at scale. AI assists our process; it does not replace editorial responsibility. Articles are checked against a quality gate and, in our current workflow, reviewed by a human editor before publication.
Source attribution
Every factual claim is tied to a source. When sources disagree, we say so explicitly rather than presenting one version as settled fact. We use phrasing such as “according to” or “has not been independently confirmed” where warranted.
What we never do
- We do not fabricate events, people, companies, products, statistics, quotes, or release dates.
- We do not claim to have tested a product unless a human editor actually tested it.
- We do not present unverified information as fact.
Corrections
